Expansion joints

The expansion joint, consisting of a highly flexible metal bellows made of stainless steel and specific connecting parts, encloses the medium pressure-tight and is elastic at the same time. The metal bellows is capable of absorbing the necessary axial, lateral or angular movements. When special stainless steels are used for the metal bellows and the connecting parts, the expansion joint can be used at high temperatures as an exhaust gas expansion joint or for aggressive media in chemical plant construction.
